Sales Account Manager

Qin’s Buffalo LLC DBA Queen Foods, Kansas City, KS

Duties:

Manage and maintain key accounts, function as the main point of contact for clients. Establish best practices to increase sales and improve customer experience. Facilitate the presentation and delivery of products to customers in an efficient and effective manner, ensuring a smooth process from order to delivery. Stay up-to-date with sales and delivery process by: communicating with Warehouse Inventory Coordinator, communicating with buyers, communicating with drivers, studying inventory reports. Respond, manage, and resolve customers complaints or objections; this may include ensuring timely payment with customer terms, ensuring proper credits are given/recorded and managing expectations. Learn current and new products, pitch current buyers on new product SKU’s and opportunities. Set up meetings with potential clients to understand their needs and pitch Queen Foods as a trusted partner. Coordinate with suppliers and internal marketing and distribution departments on developing new customer and product market. Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company’s relationship with them. No hire/fire authority.

Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related plus at least three years of related experience. Must have experience working in sales in the wholesale sector with Chinese clients. Must have experience with conducting market research to identify potential clients, understand their needs, and stay informed about industry trends. Must have experience with sales software to generate sales reports, manage client databases, and track sales activities. Regional travel in the Midwest required (10%).
